How does Scalapay work?

Scalapay allows you to pay for your order in 3 installments, interest-free and securely.

Select Scalapay as your payment method at checkout.

After confirming your order information, you will be prompted to access your Scalapay account to complete the payment. If you do not have one, you can create one from the Scalapay login page before completing your order. Add a debit, credit, or prepaid card from which installments will be withdrawn.

You can choose to pay with Scalapay for orders not exceeding €1,000 (including any shipping charges).

Wait for approval of the payment, once received, with the finalization of the order you will pay the first installment, the following will be charged in the next two months.

An email will remind you of the installment payment recurrence.

Installment due date

At the time of purchase you will be immediately charged for the first installment. The next 2 installments will be charged to you on a monthly basis.

• First installment: at the time of purchase
• Second installment: 1 month from the day of purchase
• Third and last installment: 2 months from the day of purchase.

Scalapay will notify you a few days before each installment is due via SMS and email.

If one or more of the scheduled installments are not paid correctly by the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee.

If you have not made the payment before the scheduled due date and the automatic payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment. If this does not happen, Scalapay will charge late payment fees as explained below:

• Payment made by the due date = no additional fees!
• Payment made more than 1 day late = up to €6 additional fees
• Payment made more than 1 week late = additional 6 euros (in addition to the first fee, up to a maximum of 12 euros per payment).

The total cost of fees may not exceed 15% del loan value (second and third installment).

Payments accepted

To use Scalapay, you must link a payment method to your account. Installments will be automatically charged to your default method.

Scalapay accepts all major credit and debit cards of the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS circuits and major prepaid cards (including Postepay).

1. You must be 18 years of age
2. If the automatic installment payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment directly from your Scalapay account
3. If this does not happen, Scalapay will charge late payment fees as explained below:
- Payment made by the due date = no additional fees!
- Payment made more than 1 day late = up to €6 additional cost
- Payment made more than 1 week late = an additional €6 (in addition to the first fee, up to a maximum of €12 per payment)
